Dear Shrine Clowns:

We have selected the spot for the 2009 CSSCA event. It will be held at the Embassy Suites located just off of I-25 exit 149 at 7290 Commerce Center Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80919. We will be holding the Registration, Business Meeting, Ladies Program, Competition and Award Banquet there. It was recently remodeled and looks wonderful. Once you see it, you will be glad you stayed there. This location is a straight shot south to exit 138 to reach the CSSA HQ hotel. Click here for the customized hotel registration for our event!

They have given us a great rate of $89.00 per room, for single & double, $99 for triple or $109 for four people. All rooms are suites and come with a free cooked-to-order breakfast every morning and a manager’s reception each evening featuring your favorite beverages and hors d’oeuvres. The rooms have a king or two queen beds in them, a pull out sofa bed, wet bar, microwave, coffeemaker, refrigerator, two televisions and high speed internet. They also have a restaurant and lounge that serves lunch and dinner daily.

Just think- you won’t have to leave your hotel to get to any of the clown events. The morning of the competition, you can have a hot breakfast, return to your room, get ready and ride the elevator down to the event.

The hotel is close to local attractions, including the Flying W Chuck Wagon, Garden of the Gods, Air Force Academy, Cave of the Winds and many more. Local restaurants, some with-in walking distance, include: Hooters, Margarita, Old Chicago, Outback Steak House, TGI Fridays, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Carl’s JR, Las Palmitas, Zio’s Italian Kitchen any many more. It is close to the Chapel Hills shopping mall, REI, Current Factory Outlet, Wal Mart and other stores.

You need to make your room reservations soon, before they are gone. You can make your reservations by calling 719-599-9100 or 800-EMBASSY. Reservations will open February 21^st If you are calling be sure to mention you want the “Shrine Clown” rooms and rate.

PS: Planning on coming in early or staying after the event? The hotel has agreed to give you the same rate for three days before the event and three days after. Event dates are September 9-12th.
