Cripple Creek Trip
Plans are being made to allow time for a trip to the old Gold Mining town of Cripple Creek, which has become a gambling mecca, located at about 9,500 feet above sea level. If you are interested, it’s a beautiful ride this time of the year, and here is how we plan to set up the trip/trips.
Ramblin Express, the local commercial bus company, will have scheduled buses leaving the parking next door to the Crown Plaza hotel and just across the street from the Double Tree hotel, the CSSA Headquarters hotel. This day is scheduled for Thursday, September 10th. The cost will be $25.00 per person, payable to the driver when embarking, and the schedule we have decided to use is as follows:

If this looks like something you would like to do, you need to contact Bob Burr at 719-597-7281 no later than noon, September 2, 2009. When calling be sure to tell him what time you want to depart from Colorado Springs. Returning times can be decided when you get there and see how much fun you are having.
