To the Official Photographers of those Shrine Temples attending CSSA in 2009
Hosted by the Al Kaly Shriners in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Greetings ! You have been assigned as the Official Photographer of your Shrine,
and your best photos will be used for publication for your own Shrine newsmagazine.
If you would also be interested in having your photos specifically used for the
DVD “Movie” presentation that will be made for other Shrine Temples hosting future
CSSA conventions, then I would be very pleased to have you consider the following
suggestions:
- Make sure that your digital camera is set at the HIGHEST quality possible. If you
are in E-Mail mode, please change it to the highest mode available and keep it there
forever. This is because Editors and Graphic Designers can only use high resolution
files.
- After you take those award-winning photos, please copy them to a CD or DVD, and
then mail that disk to the Al Kaly Shrine office at:
Al Kaly Shriners
635 W. Corona Avenue - #120
Pueblo, Colorado 81004
- If you have only a few photos, (no more than 10) then please up-load your photos
to my Internet gallery site. I have established a “CSSA Open Photos” album on my
site for you to up-load your photos, and they will then be burned to a CD or DVD
from there and then placed in a “movie presentation” for the future hosts of CSSA.
Simply fire up your computer, get on the Internet and then type in this address:
http://gallery.me.com/rlbills
Please, do not use WWW – or Google or Yahoo for your URL navigation, but only the
“normal” Internet Explorer Browser for Windows, or Safari for Apple/Mac.
- Soon you will come to my site. The faster the computer processor chip, the better.
Once you are connected, snoop around the main gallery page, and you will see “CSSA
Open Photos” album. Left-Click only once on that album. It will then open up so
you can see all of the photos in there. At the top-middle of the page, you will
see a series of icons: Download, Subscribe, Upload – etc. Click on the UPLOAD icon.
You will then be directed to type in your name – your e-mail address – and to also
type in a “code”.
Once you have done that, then you click on
Choose Files. You will then have to navigate
to where you have your photos stored on your own computer or thumb drive. If you
have multiple photos you want to upload, then for an Apple computer you hold down
the COMMAND button, and left-click on each of your photos. If you have a PC, then
it is the CONTROL (CTRL) button, and left-click on each photo. When you are finished
with your selections, left-click on the SELECT button, and you are done. Everything
else will be taken care of automatically…
Then please e-mail the Al Kaly DUST photographer at:
Lapaka@comcast.net and give us your captions, names of people in your photographs,
descriptions of the events you covered, all necessary and/or interesting photographic
information, and ESPECIALLY your name so you can get photo credit!

If you need anything, please do not hesitate, but e-mail me at:
